2nd Chance Books is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was founded in order to assist incarcerated Muslims by providing them with educational materials, a support system, and tools for rehabilitation. The organization is comprised of a team of dedicated, devoted individuals, including the founders of this organization, who came together to provide services for those in need and those seeking guidance. 

Latest Initiatives

2nd Chance Books is a non-profit organization that was founded in order to assist incarcerated Muslims by providing them with educational materials, a support system, and tools for rehabilitation, thus responding to their numerous questions about Islam, resulting in a more thorough understanding of the religion. So far, they have distributed over 10,000 books to inmates across the country. Among 2nd Chance’s most recent initiatives is Ṣirāṭ Link, a quarterly magazine. 

A Beginner’s Guide to Salah

A Beginner’s Guide to Ṣalāh is an instruction manual that aims to introduce and teach the basic steps of ṣalāh to new and young Muslims. In addition to the significance of ṣalāh, this pamphlet features step-by-step instructions on how to perform ṣalāh, with transliterated Arabic and translations. This is the perfect guide for those who are just learning how to perform ṣalāh or wish to improve their understanding of this daily ritual!
